Prologue: Introducing LoveMeeWeiShyan
Welcome to the LoveMeeWeiShyan Wedding Blog! I am Mee Wei, and I’ll be marrying my fiancé Shyan this coming October 2018. I came up with this personal blog to commemorate our entire wedding planning process because:
- I love everything wedding related, and I would want to remember bits and bobs of the entire wedding planning process
- I’m OCD like that
But in all seriousness, this blog would hopefully serve as a time capsule for us, and when we are old, grey and wrinkly, we will look back at this blog (if it actually still exists) 10, 30 or even 50 years down the road and reminisce about the journey, the emotions and most importantly the moments where we start our life together.
This blog would be divided into several chapters (sounds like a thesis, but way more interesting), which would be linked below for easy reference for future readings. Both Shyan and I will contribute the articles, so keep watching this space to see our latest updates and to learn more about our wedding planning journey (and hopefully don’t make the same mistakes as us).
